2026 course unveiled: a layout built for records

The SMIB organising committee unveiled the official 2026 course on Saturday 16 May. A 95% flat layout, with no major elevation, set to challenge the race records (1:02:18 men, 1:09:42 women) once again.

The start will be given at Boulevard Alfred Raoul at 7:00 a.m. The route will then pass Nabemba Tower, Total Market, Sainte-Anne Basilica, run along the Corniche to the Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza Memorial (halfway), and return via Marien-Ngouabi University and the People’s Palace.
