This Privacy Policy describes how the organising committee of the International Half Marathon of Brazzaville (hereafter “the Organisation” or “SMIB”) collects, uses and protects the personal data of users of the website brazza-smib.com.

- Manage your registration and allocate your race bib.
- Send you event-related communications (confirmation, reminders, practical information).
- Ensure your safety and handle race-day timing.
- Produce anonymised statistics about past editions.
- Contact you in case of event changes or cancellation.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your explicit consent, collected at registration via a mandatory GDPR checkbox, and on the contractual obligations relating to your participation.
5. Retention
- General registration data: retained for 3 years after the edition in which you participated.
- Medical data: deleted within 30 days after race day.
- Browsing data: session duration or a maximum of 12 months.
