SMIB 2026 registration is now open
From 20 May 2026, you can register free of charge for the 21st edition of the International Half Marathon of Brazzaville.
Brazzaville, 20 May 2026 — Registration for the 21st edition of the International Half Marathon of Brazzaville (SMIB) is officially open. As every year, registration is 100% free and open to all adults.
The 2026 edition will take place on 14 August 2026, with a 7:00 a.m. start at Boulevard Alfred Raoul, under the high patronage of H.E. the President of the Republic Denis Sassou Nguesso. The 21.1 km course will run through the most beautiful districts of the capital.
To register, head over to the Registration page. Bib pickup will take place at Alphonse Massamba-Débat Stadium from 20 May to 4 August.
The organisation is targeting 6,000 runners for 2026, which would make SMIB the largest half marathon in Central Africa.
